Hey! :)

If you’re someone who loves exploring a wide range of topics—from the humorous and lighthearted to the deeply serious—you’ve landed in the right place. Here, you’ll find a smorgasbord of short stories, poetry, reflections on world events and history, deep dives into anything and everything, investigative journalism, musings on Christianity, and so much more.

The Compass isn’t here to sugarcoat anything—it’s here to deliver unfiltered truth, even if it stings or loses readers. As Christians, we’re commanded to speak the truth boldly, in love always. So expect hard-hitting honesty…..nothing else.

I aim to publish around once a week or every other week. Life can get busy, so it might not always be on schedule, but I’ll do my best to keep the content coming!!

The Compass has four sections:

  • The Files is where I investigate historical anomalies, conspiracy theories, mysteries, and anything that doesn’t make sense in our world today.

  • In the Writings section, I share everything from essays to short stories that I’ve written; for leisure or for schoolwork.

  • In the Christian Life section, I do my best to help, convict, and guide anyone interested in Christ or actively following Him. I believe He is the ultimate Author and everything should include Him, be filtered through His Word, and His Lordship exerted over every area of life.

  • In the Politics/World section, I try to maintain somewhat of a commentary on current events (good, bad, or otherwise). This could be anything from pointing out inconsistencies in politicians to providing clear updates on big headlines around the world.

About Me

My name is Carson Wagner. I’m a 16-year-old sophomore at Logos Online School, a Christian, a podcaster, and a student pilot from northern California. I’m passionate about literature, with favorite authors like P.G. Wodehouse, C.S. Lewis, Annie Jacobsen, N.D. Wilson, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I’m a huge music fan (shoutout to For KING & COUNTRY—top 2% on Spotify 💪), and I also enjoy running, swimming, playing chess, and hanging out with my amazing friends (no such thing as “too many” in my book).

Feel free to reach out anytime with suggestions, questions, or comments—I’d love to hear from you!
